Draft resolution (A/57/L.8)
The Assembly shall now consider draft resolution A/57/L.8. I should like to announce that, since the introduction of the draft resolution, the following countries have become sponsors: Indonesia, Kazakhstan, the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Mauritius and Niger.
The Assembly will now take a decision on draft resolution A/57/L.8, entitled "Follow-up to the International Year of Volunteers".
May I take it that the Assembly decides to adopt draft resolution A/57/L.8?
Draft resolution A/57/L.8 was adopted (resolution 57/106).
We have thus concluded this stage of our consideration of agenda item 98.
